Does anyone know the consequences of taking Zyban and ultra chloraseptic throat spray together?
I Zyban tablets to stop smoking and I also use ultra chloraseptic throat spray every day, I use the spray on average about 10 to 14 times a day. I was recently arrested by the police for a routine check and while I was working and was absolutely alcohol free, my Breathalyzer come as something more than the limit. I've been in touch with my doctor who really doesn't want to participate, because I shouldn't have used the throat spray as long (now I know) Does anyone know whether Zyban mixed with benzocaine spray in the throat may have an effect on the Breathalyzer. The little I've discovered is that one should be used intoxyliser for a true reading. Im at my wits' end, does anyone have answers for me. It seems im going to my license and job due to losing my throat condition.
I am a medical assistant and as far as I know it is not zyban shown on the Breathalyzer. What is shown is the alcohol in the throat spray. Believe it or not so with as much as you use the alcohol (even tho sum one minutes) is shown in the test ... Just as if you had taken NyQuil or using mouthwash would show up. What your doctor if I were you I would look for to see a Doctor. Hope this is helpful.
