Celebrities should be good role models When it comes to Drunk Driving?

We are seeing quite a few celebrity faces splashed across the Internet through their DUI arrests. It's almost an everyday occurrence. We have seen celebrities like Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Lindsay Lohan and charged with driving under the influence. Fortunately, people were not seriously injured or hurt because of their careless behavior. Would be a problem if someone is injured or slain? Should we hold responsible for these celebrities are good role models?

It seems that nowadays most people in our society think drink driving is not such a big deal. People get a slap on the wrist, Little Bitty fines and short prison sentences. No wonder it is not taken seriously.

Are the legislators and the legislature to blame because they did not call for tougher sentences DUI and fines? His children do not have enough information about this topic? What if celebrities had to do public service announcements as part of their DUI sentence? Do you think these celebrities have a duty to be good role models for our children?

There are a number of initiatives currently underway at the drunk driving epidemic. Car companies and Nissan are working on the installation of technology similar to the ignition interlock device detects alcohol in the body of a person when behind the wheel. Also, the New Mexico ordered talking urinals to be installed in various establishments serving alcohol. This talking urinal cakes completely public service announcements while someone is using the toilet. These initiatives will work?

What can we do to drunk driving in America to avoid? Would there be less drinking in movies and TV shows? Should celebrities are more responsible in their behavior? After all the kids adore them and often imitate their behavior to be seen as "cool". What do you think?
