ignition interlock system
I got a DUI in WA while at school, but living with my parents in CA, I still Interlock System?
So a while back I got a DUI. By that my license is suspended until May 8th and I need to get back SR22 (I'm in the process) completion of 8 hours ADIS class (which is done) and an ignition interlock system installed on my car (even after the first offense). Well, my curisosity began to wander, and I thought if I could, what if I renewed my license in CA? Originally I got my license in WA, but my parents moved back to CA two years ago and I've been thinking about renewing it there ever since. Would I still installing The interlock system since I received the citation in WA and since I drive 9 months of the year here or CA law would take effect, I do not affect the lock? Would I need the CA requirements for a full DUI to achieve this? I turn 21 on 8 / 14 of this year, meaning my license expire, I could do maybe? Any suggestions on how the interlock or other comments to avoid would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
a record is a record regardless of the state has put in WA and will be used in CA you'll still need to the interlock on your car. you get what you get. DUI will follow for the rest of your life driving.
