ignition interlock disconnect
How do I get my 1998 Cutlass and in reverse from park?
I do not think the brake transmission shift interlock (temporarily closed), It is the release mechanism (?) Of the ignition (key) switch that keeps it locked. Any help is appreciated.
I have a repair shop, and if you, try ll move the wheel back and forth could free up a bit on, some of them do this or sometimes in a bind, and it does not take much for them to bind to do, if not the key switch is a little worn on, I have a few that were like that were, at the very worse you might have to replace the key switch, doing so requires removing the steering wheel and a few other things, but maybe you, ll get it unstuck, good luck I hope this helps, s
