If I Ignition Interlock on my truck could cause problems?
I have the box installed on my truck and man the starting point since one weeks ago with problems. Before the box was installed we had no problems starting the truck. Everytime it started smoothly. Since last Tuesday when the box was installed, several times after receiving the green light on the box, the ignition trying to run several times before it will catch. This is what concerns me about the installation techs on the truck. He said something about there were a few threads he had on tape, but made no mention about the possibility of beginning to be done. Can the box caused a problem??
Definitely things that attach directly to the ignition wiring under the dashboard. All electronics in the vehicles today are easily disturbed by aftermarket gadgets. Remote start, ignition lock, even some radio equipment will wreak havoc on them. Take it back and tell them what happens if they say no prob, to a dealer and have them check in. Could there really be so coinsidence and one other problems.
