Will the new CA repeat DUI offenders law work for me? SB598?

I have two Duis, My last conviction was final in March. I am already with a license since. I read Ca governor signed a new law in October 2009 to allow DUI recidivists with a limited license to obtain an ignition interlock device installed After 90 days of suspension served from July 1, 2010. Now my question is, will I be able to take advantage of this law, even tho my DUI conviction was prior to the effective date of this new law. Thanks for any info. - David I have read nothing in this Act, where people who were convicted of the statutory effective date could not benefit from it. I actually had my attorney send me the actual print of the law, i didn't fully understand, and he's not avaible until Monday, so try GTO get info now. thanks

No, it is effective 07/01/2010, no end in March. If you want any staat to get your restricted license under the new law would moeten you wait until July 1 and a profession to be zien whether it will apply the law retroactively file. This costs money and is not guaranteed.
