Ignition Interlock - a DUI prevention tool with questionable Popularity
There are a variety of different methods countries use to offenders punish convicted DUI while preventing DUI recidivism - that is drunk and driving again. Often a first time offender is still a harsh penalty. They can certainly find themselves with a steep ticket and an appearance on the local court house. The system of retesting while driving has shown some results, higher incidents of crashes. And after nearly a decade of many states using this system, no good evidence has shown otherwise. Until the root of alcoholism is averted, the DUI court did not find this popular until it shows better results.
